Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Job Summary:
The Production Support Engineer is responsible for facilitating the transition of hardware development programs into production and ensuring smooth operations during the production phase. This role provides technical support, resolves product and test equipment issues, and collaborates with manufacturing, design engineering, and quality teams to optimize production. Responsibilities include supporting design and first article testing, troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launches and continuous improvement to maintain high first-pass yields. Active collaboration with cross-functional teams and involvement in both engineering design and production activities is required. This role will support the products developed by the Airborne Systems business area.
