Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Production Supervisor to join our team in Youngstown, OH, 44502. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our production operations, ensuring that we meet our quality standards and production goals. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production staff to achieve performance targets.
- Monitor production metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any operational issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare reports on production performance and present findings to management.
- Assist in training new employees on production processes and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
