Production SupervisorJob SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing the daily activities of all team members in the production and processing departments. The successful candidate will be able to perform job hazard analysis with assistance from Safety and the Operations Manager, minimize line downtime, increase efficiency, and manage employee absences and performance issues. The Production Supervisor will execute special projects and initiatives as assigned, accept safety as a condition, and support plant operations. This position reports to the Operations Manager.Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure product conformance and line efficiency
Directs setup and adjustments of production machines/linesInterprets specifications and job orders to workers and assigns dutiesEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedulesRecommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productSuggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of production lines, department, or work crewUnderstands, utilizes and trains staff on ERP and OEE systems
Work cross-functionally with all departmentsSafety role model
Supports an injury-free workplace by modeling good safety habitsEnsures PPE is worn by staff as requiredInterprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations

Minimum High School Diploma required, some college preferred2+ years experience working in food manufacturing requiredPrior supervisory experience requiredBilingual English/Spanish preferredExperience with ERP System(Oracle/Peoplesoft) and OEE system (RedZone) preferred
