Production Supervisor

About the Role:

The Production Supervisor in the durable goods manufacturing sector plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the production floor to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for coordinating production activities, managing team performance, and ensuring that production targets and deadlines are consistently met. Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures in durable goods manufacturing.
• Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work flexible hours including shifts, weekends, or overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certification in production supervision or manufacturing management (e.g., Certified Production Technician, Six Sigma Green Belt).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced data analysis tools.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
