Location: Production Supervisor, IN
Pay: $36/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (plus shift handoff time)
EmploymentType: Contract-to-Hire (Potential for direct hire!)
Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee employee activities on the production floor
  • Support and enforce quality systems and standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within production
  • Address and resolve employee concerns and operational issues
  • Ensure customer quality standards are consistently met
  • Maintain high standards for safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance
  • Monitor employee attendance and maintain accurate records
  • Enforce departmental discipline and company policies
  • Manage daily timekeeping and production reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with machine setup preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to lead and develop teams
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel occasionally for training or customer/supplier meetings
  • Strong attendance record
Preferred Experience
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban
  • Experience leading projects and process improvements
  • Passion for continuous improvement and growth into management
