Production Supervisor - Food Manufacturing

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations during first shift in a high-volume food production facility. This role oversees multiple production lines, including batching, filling, and bottling, ensuring output targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.

Description

• Supervise and coordinate production activities, including batching, filling, bottling, and bulk production processes.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, and other safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and improve line efficiency while minimizing downtime and waste.
• Lead, train, and mentor production team members to achieve performance goals.
• Manage inventory control, including materials and supplies for production needs.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demand.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment such as cryovac, Winpak, and other specialized machinery.

Profile

• Proven expertise in production supervision within food manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with batching, filling, bottling, and bulk production processes.
• Knowledge of GMP and OSHA standards to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
• Experience with equipment such as cryovac, Winpak, and other related machinery.
• Proficiency in inventory control and production scheduling.
