The company is known for its commitment to quality, operational excellence, innovation, and employee development, offering a collaborative environment where team members can make a meaningful impact on production and continuous improvement efforts.Job DescriptionLead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve performance, quality, safety, and productivity objectives.Promote a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.Manage employee scheduling, attendance, time-off requests, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and training initiatives.Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that encourages accountability, engagement, and collaboration.Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including workplace organization, operational metrics, and process improvement programs.Supervise day-to-day production activities and workflow within assigned areas.Monitor production schedules and staffing levels to ensure customer and operational requirements are met.Ensure consistent execution of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.Maintain appropriate inventory levels of production materials and supplies.Ensure compliance with applicable quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company policies.Enforce quality standards and production requirements to ensure product conformance.Conduct routine inspections and audits to verify adherence to established procedures.Partner with Quality and Operations teams to investigate issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.Support ongoing efforts to improve product quality, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.Maintain accurate production records, staffing information, and performance metrics.Prepare and communicate reports related to production output, efficiency, quality, safety, and workforce performance.Ensure documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with company requirements.Allocate labor, equipment, and materials effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Logistics, to ensure smooth operations.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
