Seeking a Production Supervisor – Night Shift in Decatur, IN, with a schedule of 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotation. The role offers a salary of $65,000+ annually.
- Lead manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals
- Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to support staff and enhance performance
- Supervise 18–30 employees, including hiring, training, coaching, and managing performance
- Conduct pre-shift meetings, report performance metrics, and participate in Tier meetings
- Develop training programs, address production issues, and ensure safety and compliance standards
- Manage shift schedules, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure equipment readiness
- Collaborate with teams on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
- Mentor Production Leads for operational coverage in supervisor’s absence
- Support budgets and business planning efforts
Qualifications include 5+ years supervisory experience, 10+ years manufacturing background, leadership skills, and experience with scheduling, staffing, and safety standards. Plastics manufacturing or thermoforming experience is preferred.
