Overview:
We're seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on 3rd shift while driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, equipment, materials, and production activities to ensure operational goals are achieved. Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
Create a positive work environment where employees feel respected, supported, and empowered.
Ensure products are manufactured according to specifications and customer requirements.
Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders.
Manage employee performance, accountability, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Organize staffing, schedules, overtime, vacations, and absence coverage to meet production requirements.
Maintain accurate production records and operational reports.
Ensure compliance with quality procedures, process controls, and manufacturing standards.
Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs and regulatory compliance.
Promote effective communication across shifts and departments.
Lead daily floor walks, team meetings, and production reviews.

Requirements:
3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
Experience managing production schedules and workforce planning.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with 6S, LPA, and HSE initiatives.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Computer proficiency including spreadsheets, reporting tools, and word processing software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required PPE.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Associate degree with continued education toward a bachelor's degree.
Automotive manufacturing experience.
Experience leading continuous improvement projects.
Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Experience working with quality systems and process controls.

Base Salary: $51,000 - $70,000
