Production Supervisor - Steel ManufacturingAfternoon/Evening Shift | $60,000 – $70,000
Why This Role MattersYou’ll lead a production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, owning safety, quality, and output on your shift. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can hold people accountable, solve problems quickly, and keep operations moving.
Compensation & Schedule- Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 (based on experience)
- Shift: Afternoon/Evening
- Current: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- Future: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
What You’ll Do- Lead daily production operations to hit safety, quality, and output targets
- Supervise, coach, and hold a team accountable for performance
- Identify issues on the floor and take action—quickly and effectively
- Drive problem-solving using root cause analysis (8D or similar)
- Monitor production data, downtime, and efficiency—and act on it
- Coordinate staffing, overtime, and shift coverage
- Partner with maintenance, quality, and leadership to resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with safety (MIOSHA) and quality (IATF) standards
What You Bring- 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes and shop floor operations
- Experience handling employee performance, attendance, and discipline
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and make decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with quality systems (IATF, ISO, or similar) is a plus
- Willingness to work extended hours on an afternoon/evening shift
