Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Second Shift Production Supervisor to lead and manage our second-shift production team. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient operation of the production floor while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate and guide a team toward achieving production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations during the second shift to meet production goals, quality standards, and deadlines
• Provide clear direction to team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations
• Enforce company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork
• Collaborate with first and third shift supervisors to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication
• Troubleshoot production challenges and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and training
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, attendance, and inventory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Skills:

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage and motivate diverse teams
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
• Must be available to work the second shift and occasional overtime or weekends as needed
