The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the Shift overall activities of the production operations, including workplace safety and food safety.
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
Meet cost, quality and service targets within the Manufacturing and Operations area as detailed on our Plant Leadership Scorecards
Manage, lead, and develop staff to establish a high-performance work team.
Develop and implement cost savings projects to improve overall departmental efficiency.
Engage with network peers to identify, create, and promote improvements in service and cost efficiency as a team
Execute talent management strategy to improve organizational capacity and capability.
Ensure the Health and Welfare of our associates.
Evaluate and interpret daily production reports to observe trends in the production cycle.
Maintain a production line balance and issues system that allows the whole plant to have situational awareness of the production floor.
Understand AS400 system to interpret and implement the daily production schedule and be able to fill in for the scheduling department during non-typical work hours.
Work directly with the temporary employment agency to ensure the most efficient use of this resource.
Be an active member of the MRP group in achieving a goal of 100% order fill.
Ensure all safety accidents are followed up according to FE SOPs.
Ensure all corrective actions are followed up according to FE SOPs.
Objectives are not limited to the above.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to be hands on manager with the skills and fortitude to work in a fast paced, challenging food manufacturing environment
Required Education and Experience
B.S. in a related field from an accredited 4-year college.
5+ years progressive related experience within a manufacturing environment with minimum 3 years managing Supervisors
Experience in food manufacturing and/or distribution preferred
