North Charlotte company is looking for Experienced Sewers!
Typical Duties

  • Operating sewing machines (industrial or standard) to sew garments, textiles, or other products according to design patterns or customer specifications.

  • Following work orders and instructions to produce standard or custom items such as tablecloths, napkins, upholstery, drapery, or apparel.

  • Inspecting finished products for quality, measuring, and marking fabrics before sewing.

  • Maintaining equipment by cleaning, oiling, and replacing needles or bobbins.

  • Meeting production quotas and deadlines while adhering to safety and quality standards.

  • Collaborating with team members and other departments (design, sales, quality) to ensure correct specifications are met.
  • Documenting production and reporting issues to supervisors.
Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience: Previous sewing or production experience required; industrial sewing experience is a plus.

  • Skills: Ability to read and follow written instructions, measure accurately, and use hand tools or power tools.

  • Physical requirements: Ability to stand or sit for long periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive hand movements.
