Production Supervisor
Location: Buttonwillow, CA (Food Manufacturing)
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 per year + potential bonus
Schedule: Full-time, Onsite, Direct Hire

Hire Up Staffing is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company near Bakersfield, CA, to find an experienced Production Supervisor to join their operations team. This position plays a key leadership role in maintaining production efficiency, quality, and safety standards across multiple processing areas.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise production employees, providing clear direction, training, and performance feedback.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production operations to meet targets and maintain product quality.

  • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless workflow.

  • Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with all safety and food regulations.

  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.

  • Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging to ensure consistent production.

  • Track and report production metrics for management review and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Conduct daily production meetings and support process optimization initiatives.

  • Partner with sanitation and quality teams to maintain a clean, compliant, and safe environment.
Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or food production required.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, production processes, and quality control standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive operational results in a fast-paced environment.
