Production Operator (Night Shift) | Westbury, NY
Compensation $20-$22/hour
We are hiring a Production Operator for our Westbury, NY, manufacturing facility. This is a night shift role (Thursday-Saturday, 9:00 PM-9:00 AM) ideal for candidates with experience in production operations, equipment setup, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate production equipment to meet output and quality standards
- Monitor product quality and adjust processes within standard operating procedures
- Track production data and maintain accurate batch records and reports
- Ensure correct materials are used according to production schedules
- Identify, label, and manage materials throughout the manufacturing process
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Communicate production updates, issues, and deviations to supervisors
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic math skills (weights and measurements)
- Experience operating forklifts; hoist/crane experience preferred
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Technical training or associate degree preferred
