Position Summary

This non-exempt position is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing cell. Under close supervision, the role involves performing a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related medical device components. Work is completed according to standardized procedures and is subject to ongoing review.




Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine assembly, repair, and test operations following established procedures
  • Ensure all job documentation for cell operations is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain precise records to support product traceability and quality compliance
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of manufacturing management (written and verbal)
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment
  • Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production efficiency and profitability
  • Participate in setting and monitoring individual and team performance goals
  • Support divisional initiatives, including compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with internal and external stakeholders



Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and standard computer software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to handle small components with precision
  • Capable of making sound decisions with minimal supervision
