Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role involves operating and monitoring chemical processing equipment such as vessels, mixers, and reactors to produce epoxy and polyurethane formulations safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities include handling chemicals following safety protocols, performing heating, cooling, pressure, and exothermic processes, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The role also requires operating forklifts, handling drums, and working independently or with team members to meet production goals. Participation in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives is essential.
Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or GED, 3+ years of manufacturing experience (preferably in chemical formulation), ability to work any shift, and clearance to work with controlled chemicals. Preferred skills include experience in epoxy/polyurethane manufacturing, forklift certification, and industry-specific exposure. The position involves shift work, PPE use, and physical activity.
