We are making a positive impact and we want you to be a part of it!Production Operators are an important part of the manufacturing process and will be placed in one of a variety of L-H Battery departments from Materials Management to Module manufacturing. Operators may be responsible for transporting or loading materials, operating and/or monitoring production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing of products. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards. The operator will work as part of a team to achieve production goals in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Load and operate machinery and equipment to manufacture products according to specifications.Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met and maintain production efficiency.Develop and demonstrate understanding and ability to use Human Machine Interface (HMI)Manage material inventories to maintain equipment operations.Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot basic abnormal conditions as they arise.Understand, demonstrate, and adherence to workplace and process safety, PPE requirements, including, but not limited to hazardous materials, equipment and other general workplace requirements.Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and targets.Escalate concerns according to company protocols and procedures.Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain Right Location, Right Quantity, Right ContainerPerform other duties as assigned.Education/Experience: High School graduate or GED required Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is a plusKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Ability to read and understand written instructions, as well as comprehend verbal instructionsPrevious experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properlyEasily demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, decision making and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to work in a team environmentBasic understanding and experience / comfort level with computers and digital tools including experience using Microsoft OfficeUse of PPE including, but not limited to clean room gown, mask, bouffant cap, safety glasses, and protective, substantial footwearIn some instances, some production areas will be required to wear PPE including a full-face respirator and glovesAbility to walk and stand up, kneel and/or bend up to and including the entirety of work shift.In some instances, the ability to climb multiple sets of stairs and work from elevated heights will be requiredOperators may be placed on a work process or in an area that has specific push/pull, or lifting requirementsMultiple types of chemicals and raw materials are used in the production processes in which an Operator may come in contactCandidates and Operators who require a reasonable accommodation to perform one or more of the above listed essential functions of the role must inform leadership as soon as possible.
