Job Title: Production Operator

Production Operator Overview | D Shift:
Production Operator will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day work of the production line while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Production Operator I continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of production equipment and communicate with the Line Leader about any line issues. 12 hour shifts 4-3 / 3-4
Off 4: Sunday - Wednesday | On 3: Thursday -Saturday
Off 3: Sunday - Tuesday | On 4: Wednesday - Saturday
Production Operator I Responsibilities:
Communicate production information to Line Leader and fellow Operators
Performs all duties in a safe, reliable and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader
Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials
Identify and record acceptable and defective products
Assembles, inspects, and cleans solar modules per work instructions
Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery
Perform continuity testing using a meter
Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installation
Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality
Clean machines, tools, and equipment
Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to read and understand technical documents, manuals and instructions
Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
