Sparks Group; has partnered with a leading Powder Processing Solutions Company.  We are hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Production Operators to support daily manufacturing operations in a specialty powder production environment for a morning shift from 6:30AM - 4:00. This position is ideal for someone who values workplace safety, enjoys hands-on work, and has experience operating industrial equipment in a fast-paced setting. You’ll be responsible for helping maintain production flow, supporting equipment reliability, and ensuring products meet quality standards from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate, monitor, and adjust plant equipment to maintain efficient production processes
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate equipment or process issues to minimize downtime
  • Complete equipment setup, product changeovers, disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly as required
  • Support packaging operations by staging materials, loading product, and preparing completed goods for shipment
  • Handle raw materials through measuring, weighing, organizing, and staging for production use
  • Follow established SOPs, safety regulations, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures at all times
  • Perform routine quality checks and maintain accurate production and operational records
  • Assist with minor preventative maintenance and basic equipment repairs using standard hand tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
  • At least 6 months of manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Mechanical aptitude or prior equipment troubleshooting experience is a plus
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when business needs require
  • Comfortable reading instructions, completing documentation, and communicating effectively in English
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings, including background check, physical, employment verification, and hair follicle drug test
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts, including up to 12 hours
  • Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, and twisting throughout the workday
  • Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying temperatures, dust, odors, and noise exposure
  • Must wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, protective clothing, hard hat, eye/ear protection, gloves, and respirator
  • Ability to pass respiratory fit testing
