Production Operations

Summary:

• Location: McPherson
• Work Mode: Onsite
• Typical Working Hours: 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications.
• Accurately complete assembly checklists.
• Monitor stock bins in work area and report stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
• Adhere to the company Code of Conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
• Ability to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
• Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in processes and procedures as needed.

Preferred Skills:

• Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues and create solutions.

Physical Demands:

• Read, write, and communicate in English.
• Stand and/or walk for 10 hours a day, with minimal breaks.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and observing small handwriting, labels, and components.
• Always required to wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
• Required to wear hearing protection in designated areas.
• Position requires the employee to be on-site during the scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.

Work Environment:

• Work on the production shop floor with varying temperatures based on weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.
