Summary:
Location: McPherson
Work Mode: Onsite
Typical Working Hours: 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday
Responsibilities:
Assemble components according to blueprints, routers, work orders, checklists, and specifications.
Accurately complete assembly checklists.
Monitor stock bins in work area and report stock needs to Shop Floor Lead(s).
Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures.
Adhere to the company Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to work effectively unsupervised.
Ability to understand and interpret drawings, BOMs, and procedures.
Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in processes and procedures as needed.
Preferred Skills:
Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues and create solutions.
Physical Demands:
Read, write, and communicate in English.
Stand and/or walk for 10 hours a day, with minimal breaks.
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and observing small handwriting, labels, and components.
Always required to wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
Required to wear hearing protection in designated areas.
Position requires the employee to be on-site during the scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Work Environment:
Work on the production shop floor with varying temperatures based on weather conditions.
Occasionally exposed to fumes and minimal to moderate noise.
