We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in our Manufacturing department, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of production operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plant operations, labor management, and cost control. This role is integral to our company's success and requires a leader who can drive production efficiencies while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
2. Managing and supervising the labor force, ensuring that all staff are fully trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
3. Implementing and maintaining cost control measures to ensure production operations are within budget.
4. Ensuring that all production activities comply with health and safety regulations.
5. Coordinating with other departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics to ensure seamless operations.
6. Developing and implementing production plans and schedules to meet company goals and deadlines.
7. Continually assessing and improving production processes for efficiency and quality.
8. Liaising with senior management to report on plant performance, issues, and solutions.
9. Monitoring equipment and machinery, arranging for maintenance and repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
10. Implementing and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Production Manager role will have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in plant operations, labor management, and cost control.
3. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
6. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and health and safety regulations.
7. Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Proficiency in using production management software and other relevant computer applications.
10. A results-driven approach, with a strong focus on meeting production targets and deadlines.
