In this pivotal role, you will:
- Spearhead the plant's safety initiatives, nurturing a zero-injury work culture.
- Coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including scheduling and resource management, to achieve production targets.
- Lead and mentor production supervisors, managing workload distributions, and fostering a rewarding workplace atmosphere.
- Ensure high standards in quality control and collaborate with quality management teams to address any discrepancies via root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant, emphasizing 5S and operational protocols.
- Administer training programs to enhance employee growth within the company.
- Manage workforce logistics, including staffing requirements, policy enforcement, and necessary disciplinary measures.
- Champion environmental responsibilities to uphold compliance and sustainability.
- Maintain regular reporting duties and oversee the timely execution of plant projects.
Candidates should possess a solid educational foundation with at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity, particularly within metals manufacturing environments. Experience in leading teams and implementing ERP systems is crucial, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office. Preferably, candidates will have familiarity with Lean methodologies, automation, and experience within the automotive sector.
