Compensation Range:

Position Summary:

Hiring Salary Range: $53,450.27 to $58,795.29 depending on qualifications.

Job Duties:

Works with the Arts Director to establish strategic priorities, production season planning, and operational policies for theatre and performance spaces, including oversight of production and rental budgets and revenue.

Provides leadership and oversight for all theatre productions from concept through strike, ensuring coordination across directing, design, technical, and academic areas.

Supervises production staff, including the Theatre Coordinator and Theatre Technician; assigns responsibilities and ensures effective workflow across productions and events.

Oversees development and management of production budgets, approves expenditures, and ensures fiscal responsibility across productions and facility operations.

Serves as the primary lead for rentals in performing arts spaces, including contract oversight, scheduling prioritization, and relationship management with external organizations in collaboration with the Arts Director and campus stakeholders.

Ensures coordination of facility usage across academic productions, college events, and external rentals, establishing priorities, resolving scheduling conflicts, and supporting student learning opportunities.

Oversees and evaluates technical operations, including lighting, sound, rigging, and production, ensuring appropriate staffing, safety, and resource allocation.

Oversees front-of-house and audience services operations to ensure effective student and patron experience.

Ensures compliance with all institutional, state, and federal safety regulations and risk management policies related to theatre operations and public events in coordination with administration.

Oversees long-term planning for equipment replacement, capital improvements, and facility upgrades in coordination with administration and facilities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Theatre or a related field and four (4) years of related professional experience in theatre production, technical direction, or arts management.
