We are currently seeking an energetic, hands-on, and results-driven Production Manager to lead our production operations. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing daily plant production activities, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and developing a high-performing team.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment, enjoys leading people, and has a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and customer service objectives are achieved.
- Direct and support a team of 50+ production, maintenance, and support employees.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate workflow across multiple departments to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor staffing levels, labor utilization, and departmental performance to maximize productivity.
- Establish clear communication and accountability throughout the production team.
- Partner with the Plant Manager to recruit, train, develop, and retain employees.
- Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action as needed.
- Monitor production metrics, quality standards, attendance, safety practices, and operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and quality.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support plant operations as needed and perform additional responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, industrial laundry, or related environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Results-oriented with a hands-on leadership style.
- Comfortable working throughout the production floor and occasionally performing physical job functions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
- Military leadership and operations experience is highly valued.
