Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency, high product quality, and on-time shipping. The role involves optimizing production, managing resources, implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
The manager will hire, train, and supervise team members, manage budgets, resolve issues, and drive process improvements. Additionally, they will analyze data to identify waste and enhance productivity, while preparing reports for senior management.
Qualifications include proven manufacturing management experience, strong leadership skills, knowledge of safety and quality standards, and a relevant degree. Domestic and international travel may be required. Managing in a union environment is a plus.
