Sentoria Staffing Solution's client is an industry leading recycling and waste management company located in Waller, TX and they are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their dynamic organization.

Responsible for the overall production of plastic recycled pellets/resin. Completion on time to fill all orders and overall production results aligned on quality. Manage and develop production supervisors, production and work scheduling, work with quality and maintenance to assure products are produced to meet standards and execute on company goals.

Responsibilities:

• Production of recycled plastic resin at Plant to achieve targets.
• Align all aspects of production with all the departments within the facilities.
• Work with quality and extrusion teams to review and align forecast of material supply to match production targets with product grades and customer orders based on end-markets we produce recycled pellets/resin to sale
• Coordinate with maintenance leader and troubleshoot issues to keep plant running efficiently. Assist in maintenance as needed. Implement changes as necessary.
• Maintain accurate physical and transactional inventory
• Assists in the forecasting of P/L
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent commercial, technical industry experience preferred.
• Experience in plastic extrusion, recycling processes, and recycling equipment. Management of production schedules, teams with various roles, and performance of production of plant. Some experience in assigned industry needed.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of extrusion process, recycling equipment, and quality values.
• Understanding of equipment performance, troubleshooting issues with equipment, and good preventative maintenance practices are necessary.
• Understanding of internal and external economic factors (cost, pricing, margins, profit impact of decisions) that effect the bottom line of the plant, and market dynamics that may drive or change business opportunities.
• Understanding of the packaging requirement and logistics and domestic/ international transportation aspects of the business.
• Knowledge of markets, trends, competition and related business intelligence.
• Knowledge of potential customers in the target markets and their needs.
• Knowledge of product and service offering, inter-relationships with other divisions in the company.
