Production Manager

Position: Production Manager
Reports To: Chief Technology Officer
Type: Starts at 1099, transitions to W2 in October
Eligibility: US Permanent Residency is required due to Federal Guidelines. No C2C/C2H

Description:

The production manager is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing operations, overseeing assembly and fabrication processes, and building scalable production systems to support the growth and ensure quality of Company products.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, manufacturing or related field
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, or operations leadership, preferably in hands-on environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical or electro-mechanical systems and ability to interpret technical drawings
• Effective organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
• Accustomed to working in a production facility environment inclusive of loud noises, standing for long periods of time with the ability to lift or move light to medium weight equipment and products.

Key Duties:

• Oversee daily production operations to meet safety, quality and output goals
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet project timelines and evolving startup priorities
• Lead and support technicians, providing guidance, training and day-to-day coordination
• Develop and improve production processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to increase efficiency and scalability
• Managing the production budget and implementing cost-saving measures
• Ensure product quality by implementing inspection processes, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating closely with engineers and technicians
