Production Manager
Chihuahua, Chihuahua | On-site

Leading manufacturing company dedicated to the development and production of condition monitoring, environmental indicators, and specialty industrial products, located in Chihuahua, is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at one of its production plants.

This position is responsible for driving productivity, ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining quality standards, and leading continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a safe and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Manage production supervisors and large manufacturing teams.
  • Improve productivity, efficiency, and operational performance through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor KPIs including OEE, productivity, scrap, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and HR to support operational goals.
  • Manage labor planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years leading production operations.
  • Experience managing multiple production lines and teams of 50–200+ employees.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), production planning, and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Professional-level English required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical device, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt), APICS, or PMP are a plus.
