Part of a high performing team that is engaged and committed to World Class Manufacturing performance, ensuring that the safety of our people always comes first, while building a line culture of continuous improvement with a focus on zero operational defects and losses. The incumbent works closely with the line mechanical specialist to ensure that appropriate processes, capabilities, and routines are in place to support production by developing autonomous maintenance and preventive maintenance capability, with specific focus on the electrical, power, controls, and information systems of a manufacturing line. The incumbent will also maintain, troubleshoot, install, and recommend control changes to improve business results in the areas of safety, quality, production, delivery, cost, and morale.   Responsibilities: * Actively participate in line Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execution of the daily plan, including reporting results of the previous 24 hours: number of breakdowns, resolved / unresolved defects, project management, etc. * Serve as a coach and resource for the line team and actively participate in the execution of the maintenance plans. Develop manufacturing technicians' capability of inspecting equipment for defects and correcting those defects * Support development and lead portions of 90-day loss elimination plans and the annual maintenance plan * Partner with line maintenance specialist in leading the breakdown elimination (BDE) daily management system (DMS) and drive...
