Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for monitoring production workflows by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is responsible for ensuring production assembly cell is actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule. The Production Team Lead provides effective training to the assembly cell and ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. The Production Team Lead will assemble/produce personal care or nutritional products.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.? Ability to write print? and speak simple sentences. English language skills required. Bi-lingual English and Spanish language skills preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.?
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes, airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather); working near moving mechanical parts; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather), and moderate to loud noise levels.
