Join our manufacturing team as a Production Coordinator, where you’ll help plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to keep work moving safely, efficiently, and on time.

Supervisory responsibilities: Assist with setting and overseeing work assignments, schedules, and work quality for the manufacturing team.

Job Summary
The Production Coordinator plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors production activities throughout the full production cycle to ensure customer and operational deadlines are met. This role tracks work-in-progress (WIP), manages and communicates schedules and priorities, monitors inventory and material availability, and helps ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The position is hands-on and requires frequent presence on the shop floor.

Qualifications

•    Familiar with Bills of Materials (BOM), production scheduling, and quality standards.
•    A solid understanding of supply chain processes and capacity management.
•    Knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
•    Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Outlook is a must.
•    Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

•    Possesses above-average interpersonal skills, can work independently with minimal supervision, and interact effectively with employees at all levels of the company. 
•    Must be able to multitask. 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
•    Strong attention to detail.
•    Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
•    Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 
•    Must have strong math and analytical skills. 

Education/Experience

•    High school diploma or GED is required; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or engineering is preferred. 
•    Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or production control environment.
