Production Control Supervisor

THE WORK

• Manages multiple manufacturing planning, material management and support activities within various manufacturing job functions responsible for Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions.
• Duties may include but not limited to, making, buying, billing of Material (BOM) Planning, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Warehousing and Shipping.
• Oversee production systems integrity and drives inventory optimization to minimize cost.
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

You are an experienced production leader with a talent for organizing and streamlining operations in a complex, fast-paced environment. You bring strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of production and material management. You are also adept at:

• Communicating effectively with management and teams to keep everyone aligned on project progress and challenges.
• Leading teams, balancing multiple priorities, and resolving production issues efficiently.
• Providing mentorship and managing the performance and development of your team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5+ years of related career experience
• Understanding of MRP systems

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
