Purpose:
The Production Control Clerk I, maintains records, production data, prepares records for filing and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality of records and other aspects of aircraft maintenance production.
Essential Job Functions:
Issues, receives, and closes task cards used in production activities.
Support the development and buildup of aircraft maintenance work packages, including printing, organization, and correct sequencing of task cards.
Receive and track production documents and aircraft records as required and file records per company and customer requirements.
Always maintains the work status for task cards up to date, including partial work.
Receive, inventory/audit, issue, and complete task cards for the project:
Ensure the entire process is through from the time the mechanics initially take the task card to complete a job until the time the task card is completed, closed, and filed.
Data entry.
Keep the dock organized for the aircraft project and Project Managers.
Maintain inventory of all Cards, paperwork orderly, perform all clerical duties, and other day to day tasks that may arise.
Keeping spreadsheet records of different tasks such as document rejection to determine if/where any paperwork is lacking.
Administrative assistant to the Project Managers/PMs:
Assist with PMs with their paperwork, plan meetings, assist with expense reports.
Contact customers, vendors, etc. when assistance is requested.
Run errands when needed.
Records management:
Conduct a thorough physical and digital audit once a card is completed.
Maintain completed and closed records stored.
Keep records room where all physical copies of records are kept, organized.
Work closely with customer to ensure all closed records are shipped to appropriate location.
Maintain Production Control and other Records data.
Customer Service specialist:
Handle all customer inquiries as needed.
Get supplies when asked/any one-offs, odds and ends they might need.
Administrative/Other Duties:
Gets supplies order for mechanics on the floor.
Maintain the common areas in a neat and orderly manner.
Serve as the Point of contact for other departments to facilitate information when needed.
Interface with vendors/contractors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
