What You’ll Do: Production
· Efficiently set up jobs to 16 colors.
· Basic knowledge of screen-printing inks, squeegees, and the usage of flashes.
· Set up screens and inks according to work order specifications.
· Maintain a clean & safe work environment.
· Loads screens with inks and tools.
· Loads shirts on press for consistent placement of prints.
· Inspect production prints for color, registration, and print quality according to customer specifications.
· Inform the press operator of print problems observed during the production run.
· Record and report quantities of rejected material and acceptable prints
· Catch, stack, and sort printed products.
· Unloads shirts from press to dryer
· Removes screens from press.
· Removes ink and tools from screens.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
What we're looking for:
· The preferred team member will be an energetic, organized, and dependable individual with the ability to work efficiently and effectively with a positive attitude & team oriented.
· Must be able to work up to 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday between 6:00AM and 2:30PM. Personal appointments should be made after 2:30PM to minimize work interruptions.
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills
· Must have good vision and an eye for detail.
· Must stay focused and not get distracted from the task at hand.
· Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours.
· Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
· Perform kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead.
· Repetitive movements
· Work in a Warehouse environment (not climate controlled) with heated machines. Work does have bay door open, so include Florida weather conditions of high heat/humidity, wet weather conditions.
· Informal dress code
· Open/easy Communication with management Most importantly we need someone who can meet our production requirements by being goal oriented and maintain high quality with speed.
