Job Title: Production Associate I Disassembly/Cleaning and Inspection - 1st Shift
Location: Commerce City, CO
1 year contract / pay rate: $23.50/hr
Monday - Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Assist in the teardown of high horsepower diesel engines, rotating through disassembly, cleaning, and inspection of engine components.
  • Follow all applicable safety standards, policies, procedures, and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Perform quality inspections, identify and control non-conforming materials, and ensure adherence to quality procedures such as SPC and visual standards.
  • Work at required cycle times, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and repair equipment as needed.
  • Engage in safety training and promote a culture of health and safety awareness.
  • Participate actively in process improvements, safety initiatives, and team development activities.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with automotive or heavy equipment tools, hand and power tools, and engine disassembly.
  • Mechanical competency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy components using cranes and work safely with heavy machinery.
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with engine teardown, cleaning, inspection, and quality control procedures preferred.
