Production Associate (Contract)

Position: Production Associate
Location: Victor, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join a manufacturing team in Victor, NY as a Production Associate. This contract opportunity is expected to last several weeks and provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build manufacturing skills while performing essential assembly, packaging, and production tasks. No interview is required, allowing qualified candidates to get started quickly. Successful associates will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Pay Rate:

• $17.50/Hour (Based On Experience)

Shift(s):

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM | Monday - Friday

Job Duties:

• Perform basic one-step and two-step production tasks following established procedures
• Assemble, insert, seal, pull to length, and cut materials according to specifications
• Operate manual and semi-automatic converting equipment and production tools as required
• Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete daily production goals
• Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met
• Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process
• Maintain accurate work practices and improve proficiency with assigned tasks
• Collaborate with coworkers and leadership to maintain an efficient workflow
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and quality guidelines

Requirements:

• Stable work history or relevant educational experience preferred
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to learn new processes and develop manufacturing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive production tasks
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent reaching, handling, and movement throughout the workday
