Wearwell has an opportunity on 2nd shift for a Machine Tender

Monday through Friday

2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Load precut sheets of vinyl or rubber onto a conveyor.
  2. Monitor machine performance and adjust feeding rates as needed.
  3. Maintain a steady flow of materials to prevent interruptions.
  4. May stack, roll, box, or label mats as finished product comes off the conveyor.
  5. Safely perform assigned tasks on a moving assembly line within a time-restricted breakdown designated for that task.
  6. Able to work overtime as necessary.
  7. React positively to change.
  8. Perform other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) months manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or equivalent training or experience in job-related activities.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Valid driver's license and proven ability to drive a sit-down forklift.
  • Able to regularly lift and/or move up 55 lbs.
  • Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Willingness to cross-train.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Focus on quality and good attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance is a must.
