Wearwell has an opportunity on 2nd shift for a Machine Tender
Monday through Friday
2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load precut sheets of vinyl or rubber onto a conveyor.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust feeding rates as needed.
- Maintain a steady flow of materials to prevent interruptions.
- May stack, roll, box, or label mats as finished product comes off the conveyor.
- Safely perform assigned tasks on a moving assembly line within a time-restricted breakdown designated for that task.
- Able to work overtime as necessary.
- React positively to change.
- Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) months manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or equivalent training or experience in job-related activities.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Valid driver's license and proven ability to drive a sit-down forklift.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up 55 lbs.
- Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to cross-train.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Focus on quality and good attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance is a must.
