We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inserter Sweeper to support high-volume mail production operations. The Sweeper assists the Insert Operator with machine setup, mail piece quality checks, and proper sortation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, keeps a clean workspace, and can stay focused in a fast-paced production environment.
Assist the Insert Operator with operation and workflow of automated insertion equipment.
Review job tickets to ensure proper client instructions and correct machine configuration.
Inspect finished mail for:
Correct folding and sealing
Proper address placement
Accurate sequencing and overall quality
Sort completed mail trays according to US Government Client and PSI specifications.
Support production output goals, including:
#10 envelope runs: 120,000–150,000 pages inserted
6" x 9" envelope runs: 220,000–250,000 pages inserted
Contribute to changeover times of 20 minutes or less.
Report machine malfunctions or issues to the Production Supervisor or onsite technician.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all established safety rules, SOPs, and operational guidelines.
Perform additional cross-trained tasks as needed.
Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motion.
Ability to push/pull large paper rolls on carts as needed.
Strong attention to detail and reliability required.
Must pass background check and 8-panel drug screen.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Timekeeping: Standard weekly timesheets
Worksite: Onsite at the Erlanger production facility
