Product Support Specialist
Be the go-to technical expert supporting innovative electro-mechanical products.
This role blends hands-on troubleshooting, customer interaction, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll support distributors and end users while helping drive product success through technical expertise, training, and documentation.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical support via phone/email for electro-mechanical products
- Troubleshoot issues using structured diagnostics and resolve common problems
- Escalate complex issues to engineering with clear documentation
- Manage support tickets, RMAs, warranty claims, and returns
- Coordinate orders, RFQs, and customer inquiries (pricing, lead times, availability)
- Assist customers with product selection and application guidance
- Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (FAQs, guides, spec sheets)
- Support distributor onboarding and product training (webinars, walkthroughs)
- Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction
What You Bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Customer-facing experience in technical support or product support
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Comfortable supporting contractors, technicians, and distributors
Nice to Have
- 5-15 years of experience supporting industrial or electro-mechanical products
- Hands-on assembly experience with mechanical or electro-mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of wiring and electrical connections
- Experience supporting distributors or channel partners
- Familiarity with technical documentation creation (FAQs, install guides, spec sheets)
- Experience with AI tools, CRM/support systems, or documentation tools

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Coral Springs, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.87/hr.
