Job Description
Job Description:As a Product Quality Lab Technician, you will play an integral role supporting our client’s Product Quality Team. You will work closely with the Product Quality and Product Development teams to manage a retains library and run product evaluations weekly.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will support the World Wide Grocery Private Brands (WWGS PB) Product Quality team through the following responsibilities:
Manage first production retains (storage and cataloging)
Lead the cooking, preparing, and presenting of samples weekly end of shelf life evaluations.
Conduct independent product quality evaluations and store walks to investigate potential product quality issues
Report evaluation results and investigation findings to internal stakeholders
Maintain, clean, and organize the product quality lab and equipment
Update lab policies and procedures
Perform other miscellaneous product quality and administrative duties as necessary

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Nutrition, Quality Assurance, or a related field from an accredited university
1-2 years of experience working in the consumer-packaged goods industry or laboratory setting
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and deliver against rapid timelines
Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to anticipate team needs
Excellent communication skills and ability to excel in team settings
Computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Good typing skills and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in product development and/or quality assurance
Understanding of and experience in general food/manufacturing processing and laboratory techniques
