Powertrain portfolio planning is a major factor shaping Stellantis' future portfolio and is a critical component of the regional performance plan. The Powertrain Product Planning Strategist will understand the market and brand needs and develop showroom plans to not only meet these requirements, but to provide optimized alternatives to improve competitiveness. This person will work in a team to analyze both the short and long-range volume plans of the fleet, assess and respond to various inputs, and develop solutions that meet the organization's objectives.
Powertrain objectives may include customer requirements, compliance requirements, competitive needs, global/regional convergence requirements and support profitability challenges
Inputs to these plans include changes to the long-range plan, planning volumes, emissions requirements, technology changes, program timing changes, regulatory changes, internal objectives, critical part shortages, and others
Distill complex or data intensive studies into clear narratives for communication to senior management and for governance events
Participate in the development of tools to improve operating efficiency in a powertrain area of operations
Work across several groups within portfolio planning as well as across the enterprise
Work with the regulatory development team to assess emerging rulemaking and to provide Stellantis feedback to rulemaking agencies Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Strategic Planning, Business Administration or other Sales / Marketing Data Analytics study
Minimum of 8 years of relevant, professional experience
Strong operational knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to analyze large sets of data and draw defendable solutions
Demonstrated ability as a complex problem solver
Ability to communicate complex data simply (written and oral)
Self-motivated with good interpersonal skills
Experience and passion building product and technology strategies for the automotive market
