If you're passionate about using technology to improve human life, this is where your work truly mattersWhat you will accomplish in this roleThe Product Owner is the CEO of the use case, responsible for vision, prioritization, roadmap, OKRs, final requirements, and the feedback-to-decision system, ensuring outcomes are delivered with technical and operational feasibility. This role bridges stakeholders (users, internal leadership and executives) and the pod team, translating business requirements into detailed user stories and prioritizing the product backlog. The Product Owner is key in driving the development and delivery of products that meet market demands and drive organizational success.This role will lead the pod team and activities within HCA Healthcares Revenue Cycle Management domain that is focused on revenue cycle management product innovation and takes on use cases that involve reasoning against clinical information. It reports to the domain leader and Vice President of Revenue Cycle Transformation and will interact frequently with executive-level revenue cycle leadership, so having revenue cycle experience within a healthcare setting is going to be really important in order to successful in this role. This person will work closely with other product owners both in the revenue cycle domain and across domains to optimize value across the enterprise. The Digital Transformation and Innovation organizations (or DT&I) mission is to bring innovative technology solutions to the clinical and administrative frontline of HCA, re-shaping healthcare processes to improve patient outcomes, empower clinicians with insights, and drive greater efficiency for all. In this role you will be responsible for innovating our care team processes, making them more intelligent, impactful, and efficient. In so doing, you will help our clinicians provide the best care possible and have a better experience in their work.What you will do in this role:Product Vision and StrategyDevelop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with business objectivesDefine product strategy and roadmap, ensuring timely product feature deliveryManage dependencies with other teams functions while identifying, building and managing strategic partnerships across the different teams (including business and ITG) and ensure alignment across use case/data product roadmaps Oversee the development and implementation of the product, ensuring it adheres to the defined vision and goals, including the development of reusable, modular components (i.e., limited one-off or tech-debt code) Work with the Domain Leader to set aspirational and achievable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs); regularly adjust product strategy and pod direction based on OKR attainmentRequirements and Backlog ManagementCreate, prioritize, and maintain a product backlog (backlog grooming) that aligns with business goals and progress towards sprint goals and quarterly targets / OKRsEnsure user stories and requirements are clearly articulated and aligned with the visionWork with the Tech Lead and other engineers to estimate the level of effort for each user storyContinuously refine and adjust the backlog to meet changing priorities and new insightsStakeholder Collaboration and Executive PresenceEngage with stakeholders to gather requirements, feedback, and insights, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategyEscalate and unblock any pod members' dependencies/needs.
