Are you ready to join a growing team?

 

CTG is seeking a Product Owner II to support a Mobile & Online Agile Release Train, driving modernization efforts by migrating legacy platforms to new technology. This is a high-visibility role where you will own product direction, influence stakeholders, and deliver customer-centric digital solutions.

 

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 8 months

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive product vision, roadmap, and backlog prioritization
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring delivery of business value
  • Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria (ATDD)
  • Partner with Agile teams (4 developers) to deliver iterative product enhancements
  • Participate in all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives)
  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and escalate issues as needed
  • Collaborate across teams to align customer journeys and dependencies
  • Use data, analytics, and design thinking to guide decisions
  • Influence stakeholders, including senior leadership, in a matrixed environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 6+ years of product, business, or technical experience
    (or 10+ years combined education/experience)
  • Proven experience with product ownership, backlog management, and roadmap planning
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing competing priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean principles
  • Background in digital product development or platform modernization
  • Experience working with UX/design teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
