Product Owner for CDD/CTR

Summary:

• Work Mode: REMOTE
• Duration: 6 Months Contract, potential to extend and/or convert

Responsibilities:

• Gather and document requirements for new and existing AML product lines.
• Define and document user experience needs.
• Create product documentation and user stories.
• Deliver software products, including end-user training and sales demonstrations.
• Work effectively as part of a self-organizing team.
• Participate in cross-functional groups to accomplish product objectives.
• Attend stand-ups, demos, sprint planning, and retrospectives with teams.
• Manage and create backlog, including PBIs and bugs in Azure (TFS).
• Represent the Product Team in prioritizing the backlog.
• Collaborate on strategic roadmap development.
• Monitor and resolve security findings or file exemptions before SLA deadlines.
• Handle the Risk Assessment process for third-party vendors.
• Act as Product Representative for SOC Audit, managing documents and performing reviews.
• Manage OFAC list changes and review with Product Team.
• Open RITMS needed for changes, including user access and product updates.
• Notify customers of CDD upgrades and releases outside maintenance windows.

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of AML operations and software usage in financial institutions.
• Proven ability to create product documentation and user stories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of the Project lifecycle.
• Experience with software product delivery.
• Basic SQL and relational database understanding.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project 365, and Copilot.
• Knowledge of ADA Compliance for product design.
