Job Description

We are seeking a Hybrid Business Analyst / Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile product ownership, business and systems analysis, and SQL/Oracle data analysis and a proven ability to translate business needs into clear system requirements and manage a technology backlog to delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Product Owner delegate for Global Payments Operations, partnering with business leaders, operations product owners, and SMEs.
  • Define, document, and communicate functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Manage and prioritize the technology backlog based on direction from business owners.
  • Represent the product owner in Agile ceremonies and guide the team through Agile processes.
  • Groom user stories and ensure business requirements are translated into clear system requirements for developers, QA, and UAT.
  • Facilitate sessions to remove ambiguity in stories and align technology teams with business objectives.
  • Create and present requirement artifacts, including process flows, data models, use cases, presentations, and supporting documentation.
  • Track requirements through implementation to confirm scope alignment and consistency.
  • Drive decomposition of work into epics and user stories to maintain a healthy backlog.
  • Ramp up quickly on Economic Sanctions Compliance and Operations processes supported by technology.
  • Collaborate across an Agile Release Train and support continuous process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record with 5-7 years as a Product Owner in a technology organization.
  • 3-5+ years of business and systems analysis in a complex regulated environment.
  • Strong SQL skills with knowledge of Oracle, relational databases, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to convert storyboarded requirements into detailed developer-ready user stories under tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated Agile execution expertise and familiarity with Waterfall and transition practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple workstreams, act quickly on issues, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal skills to partner with senior leadership.
  • Overall experience level: 7-10 years.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Global Payments or Economic Sanctions Compliance domains.
  • Experience working across Agile Release Trains and scaled Agile environments.
