Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract
Location: Chandler, AZ

Technical Product Manager - Business Partner Connectivity Position Overview The team is seeking a Technical Product Manager to support the Business Partner Connectivity product within External Networks. This is a replacement position supporting one of nine products within the organization.
The ideal candidate may come from one of the following backgrounds:
- Technical Product Manager with a Network Operations or Network Engineering background.
- Network Engineer who has progressed into a Network Engineering Manager role with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Hybrid Technical Product Manager / Network Engineer.
Candidates without a formal Product Manager title will also be considered if they have strong networking experience, technical leadership, financial management experience, and excellent communication skills.
This role requires a strong technical resource who can also provide leadership across a matrix organization, communicate product strategy, and work effectively with senior leadership, including the CTO.
Key Responsibilities Product Leadership
- Own and support one or more products within the External Networks portfolio.
- Define the vision and roadmap for assigned product(s) based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and strategic direction.
- Define and drive product selection and RFx activities.
- Ensure alignment across product roadmaps to achieve portfolio objectives.
- Define and prioritize features and epics within the program backlog.
- Articulate product roadmaps and features to stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Represent products internally and externally with stakeholders including GIS, Finance, Audit/Risk, and Lines of Business.
- Oversee product budgets and collaborate with Senior Technology Executives, Finance, and Economic teams throughout delivery.
- Continuously monitor product inventory, performance, risk, usage metrics, CAPM, and error rates to assess product health and make lifecycle recommendations.
- Maintain accountability for all aspects of the product lifecycle, including product risk and vulnerability.
Business Partner Connectivity
- Serve as Product Manager for the Business Partner Connectivity product.
- Maintain end-to-end accountability for Business Partner Connectivity within External Networks.
- Serve as the Channel Owner for the Business Partner space.
- Ensure compliance with all related Data Transmission Services requirements.
Matrix Leadership
- Provide leadership across multiple matrixed teams.
- Guide teams by communicating product strategy and direction.
- Work closely with product teams, engineering leadership, and heads of multiple organizations.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership, including the CTO.
- Manage financials, resources, and strategic priorities.
Required Experience
Technical Product Management experience or
Network Engineering
Network Architecture
Network Engineering Management
Strong Network Operations or Network Engineering background.
Experience with third-party connectivity, including:
Third-party exchanges
Trading connectivity
Equities connectivity
Strong technical understanding combined with leadership experience.
Experience managing:
Financials
Resources
Matrix organizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong documentation skills.
Required Skills
- Subject matter expertise within the product or technology domain.
- Ability to implement operating models and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to identify risks, dependencies, business impacts, and appropriate controls.
- Experience facilitating program and portfolio planning against prioritized backlogs.
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and impediments.
- Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Ability to prepare governance artifacts and facilitate governance meetings.
- Experience collecting stakeholder feedback and measuring stakeholder effectiveness.
- Strong networking background.
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of automation and continuous delivery practices.
- Basic awareness of architecture and design.
- Ability to comply with bank standards for information security and business architecture.
