Our systems are used for environmental monitoring, as well as drinking water and wastewater process monitoring and control. As a member of In-Situ's Marketing team, our Product Managers assure we have the right products to achieve annual sales goals as well as the right roadmaps to fulfill our long-term strategic plans. Position Summary In-Situ is accepting applications for the full-time position of Product Manager-Water Quality. Water Quality is the fastest-growing area of our business. Products are sold globally through both direct and indirect channels, including as an original equipment manufacturer, or OEM. As the Product Manager, your business acumen, market insights, and cross-functional leadership skills will enable us to increase our share in core market segments and introduce our technology into new and adjacent markets. But most importantly, your relationships with customers and understanding of their needs will drive the direction of our portfolio. Specific financial KPIs, such as revenue and unit volume goals, will be the measure of your success. Responsibilities: otAlign the product portfolio and build product roadmaps that target key market segments you have identified as holding our best opportunities for growth. otIdentify new channel and selling partner opportunities for existing products. otPerform Voice-of-the-Customer Studies that distill customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviors into product requirements. otIdentify the priorities for the annual Marketing Plan, so that the marketing and communications team is enabled to drive opportunities, leads and demand in the right segments, for the right products. otDrive opportunity win rates by enabling the sales team and selling partners with training, tools, and marketing collateral. otSet competitive pricing based on market dynamics and value propositions. otPlan and execute successful product launches, including go-to-market strategies. otPortfolio management that includes full product lifecycle planning. otCollaboration across the organization: R&D, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support teams. Solicit input and align efforts toward common goals. otTop-Down Alignment: Ensure your tactical plan aligns with company-wide objectives and strategic direction. otServe as the commercial lead on new product development teams, sharing responsibility for on-time, on-budget products that meet feature, performance, cost, and timing requirements. otDevelop/optimize internal/external networks to identify sources of innovation and potential partnerships required to successfully deliver highly differentiated products. otEvolve as the external domain expert and thought leader within targeted market segments, opinion-leading customer accounts, industry associations and relevant regulatory bodies. otAs the key person understanding customer demand, along with sales help to inform SIOP with manufacturing. Minimum Qualifications: tBachelor's degree in biology, engineering, chemistry, or other technical discipline. tExcellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. tProven ability to perform product management functions leading cross-functional teams to succes ful, differentiated commercial products delivering results as measured by revenue and profit growth. tProven track record of achieving financial targets. tStrong industry domain expertise in Environmental Monitoring Instrumentation. tExperience working with diverse, global teams. tPassion for innovation and customer-centric thinking. Total Rewards: Compensation: Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data and internal benchmarks. tSalary Range: $95,000 to $135,000 per year.
