Employment Type: W2 Contract

Pay Rate: $28/hr.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support product integrity, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role will partner with internal teams, vendors, laboratories, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure products meet quality standards, safety requirements, and compliance regulations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in product testing, vendor management, apparel manufacturing processes, and consumer product compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Production, Design, Legal, Merchandising, Retail, Wholesale, and Vendor partners to address product compliance and quality concerns.
  • Monitor testing results, inspection performance, and recurring vendor issues to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide compliance guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and data insights to support vendor performance assessments.

Vendor Management

  • Manage product testing programs related to quality, safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Educate and onboard new vendors regarding compliance standards, testing requirements, and quality programs.
  • Support vendors with testing, inspection, and compliance-related questions.
  • Identify product quality concerns and recommend corrective actions and solutions.

Laboratory & Regulatory Support

  • Partner with testing laboratories to ensure adherence to testing protocols, reporting requirements, and turnaround expectations.
  • Stay informed on changing domestic and international regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regulatory support and guidance to business partners.
  • Assist in validating fiber content, care labeling, testing requirements, and product compliance documentation.

Program Administration

  • Maintain quality assurance and compliance records.
  • Support reporting, documentation, and special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to product integrity and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Product Integrity, Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes and product development.
  • Familiarity with consumer product regulations including CPSC, CPSIA, FTC, CPSA, California Proposition 65, and REACH.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal and external business partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with product testing laboratories.
  • Knowledge of product safety testing, quality assurance programs, and regulatory compliance processes.
  • Interest in sustainability, social compliance, product testing, and textile innovation.
  • Experience supporting consumer products, apparel, accessories, or related industries.
